OUR MISSION:
Challenging Today’s Students to Become Tomorrow’s Leaders!

OUR VISION:
In order to be responsible citizens, we must create an environment that will allow all students to develop and implement:
- Academic & Personal Growth
- Lifelong Learning
- Values & Respect for Self and Others
- Teamwork & Problem-Solving

While we strive to meet the needs of our students, the Ohio Department of Education rates each school and district on specific marks of performance – called measures – within six broad categories or components...

  • ACHIEVEMENT

    • How well are students performing on state tests and are they meeting established thresholds?

  • PROGRESS

    • Are all students growing academically? A “C” represents one year’s expected growth.

  • GAP CLOSING

    • Are students in all demographic groups making gains in reading and math?

  • K-3 LITERACY

    • Are struggling readers on track to proficiency in kindergarten – third grade?
(NR = no record which indicates not enough kindergartners were off track so no record is established.)

  • GRADUATION RATE

    • Are students successfully finishing high school with a diploma in four or five years?

  • PREPARED FOR SUCCESS

    • How prepared are students for future opportunities?

      Metrics here include...

      • college entrance exam scores

      • number of graduates earning an honors diploma

      • number of students earning an industry-recognized credential

      • Advanced Placement & International Baccalaureate test scores

      • College Credit Plus credits
